Technical Project Leadership

Experienced at leading large change efforts, I am accustomed to volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous situations. I’ve lead technical implementation efforts for multi-year, multimillion dollar implementations of highly configurable systems at some of Ellucian's most complex clients.

Banner Migrations

Experienced migrating multiple customers from current systems to the Ellucian Banner Platform (on-premise, Managed Cloud, and Banner SaaS migrations). I have a deep understanding of Data Conversion requirements, as well as the process, timing and flow of Banner migrations and Banner implementation projects.

Custom Code

My history as a Oracle Banner DBA and Oracle Certified Professional Developer creates a solid base for helping customers with Banner De-modification efforts, as well as translating current requirements into custom objects and reports.

Ellucian Experience Platform, Oracle Skills, Banner Administration

I have installed Banner, setup application servers (oracle and tomcat), debugged job submission errors, configured Banner Security, and analyzed misconfigured Banner environments more times than I can count. I have deep experience applying Banner upgrades manually and with Ellucian Solution Manager, which I’ve also installed. I’ve developed sales demonstrations and customer workshops around the Extensibility Tools (Page Builder, Ellucian Workflow, Theme editor, and Admin Pages/Eclipse). With almost 25 years Banner Technical experience, the last 19 of them with Ellucian, there are very few components of a customers Ellucian Banner environment I’ve not had experience with.

I’ve worked in Ellucian Professional Services in a number of roles, Sales support as a Solutions Consultant, Managed Cloud as an Engagement Manger, and Ellucian R&D as part of Ellucian’s Product Team. I’ve presented and lead discussions with large groups of people at eLive and Ellucian’s World Tour conferences and seminars.

As part of the Cloud Solutions Consulting team, I frequently built presentations and demonstrations showcasing the Ellucian Platform and how Extensibility could meet or exceed a customers need for custom functionality.

Seasoned Public Speaker

I’ve presented in front of hundreds at multiple US eLive events and traveled to over 15 countries to present at World Tour events, run Banner 9 technical workshops (internal and customer focused), and offer customer support while in region.

Product Management

In my role as Senior Product Manager, I owned the definition, development, and delivery of Ellucian’s new Banner SaaS Data Conversion tooling, the Banner CTOOL, and the Banner SaaS Readiness Discovery tooling.

Statement of Work and Contract reviewing

Very experienced at creating and modifying Statements of Work to fit certain project or customer needs. I also have experience reviewing and red lining engagement contracts.
